Basemap: Data Tracker

The Data Tracking active dialog displays a list of all the data that lies near the last mouse click on the Basemap, including 2D, 3D, well and grid data. This can be used to help you identify and select data. To turn the Data Tracking active dialog on or off, from the View menu on the Basemap, select Active Dialogs, then Data Tracker. You can also move, resize, and undock this dialog.

Data Tracking Table

The column headings can be sorted and reordered to help you select data.

Name: The name of the data item.

Owner: The owner of the data item.

Type: The type of data.

Use pop-up for overlapping data: When this is turned on, a dialog box will open when you are selecting data for display and there is more than one seismic line close to your mouse click, allowing you to select the line you want to select from a list.  This tool is helpful if you have overlapping 3D surveys.
